This was the first time I’ve ever encountered a toppings bar. Seriously, in the 33 years I’ve been on earth, I had never seen a toppings bar. So that intrigued me a little bit. The grill in the kitchen is pretty neat looking too — it’s round and moves in circles over the fire. But none of that made up for the fact that Jenny’s served me a boring patty, most likely purchased and not made on site. The burger was cheap, but I’m sure there will be other, better places to get a burger in the Inner Sunset.

I apologize for the lack of notes on this one, but it really was quite boring.

  1. Wow, that looks a little boring. We have many burger places with topping bars in Texas, but this burger looks sad. Sorry you had to go though it!

I must disagree with this review. I ate at Jenny’s yesterday and was quite happy with my burger. It was also my first encounter with a condiments bar and I was pleased to dress my burger with the obviously fresh items. I rate Jenny’s 4 star, at least, considering only the burger and 5 star with the smiling service and relaxed atmosphere.
