The Zeitgeist burger comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and your choice of cole slaw or fries for $7.00.
This burger was recommended to me by one or two people, which is why I’m reviewing it.
While I was waiting in line to order I noticed the chef holding a frozen burger patty. Seeing this made me a little hesitant about eating the burger, but I ordered it anyway. And I have to say, I was surprised by how good it was. That said, it was still just a simple, standard bar burger.
I didn’t like the fries very much, they were too mushy. But the cole slaw was light and fresh.
If you’re at Zeitgeist and want a burger, you can safely order one knowing that your burger craving will be sufficed. But I wouldn’t go there specifically to eat a burger. There are much better burgers to be had in the city for a shorter wait with less crowds.
